Crimson Head Elder reporting live from MCM Comic Con London! Hundreds of comic & graphic novel collectors, anime & manga fans, gamers & cosplay enthusiasts, expressing and sharing love for their beloved genres. Crimson Head Elder had George Trevor on location to interview survival horror icons from The Walking Dead, Khary Payton & Cooper Andrews, and you can keep up with updates for the interview here.

Wonderful cosplay was on display across the show floor, and of course we had to search out our favourite survival horror icons!

First place in the cosplay pagent has to go to the wonderful REUK Cosplay Group were representing Resident Evil in superb fashion!

The genre range and wealth of comics & graphic novels was breathtaking, and inspiring.

Some of the highlights, with a survival horror flavour, are showcased below:

AFTERLIGHT COMICS: Independent British comic publisher, of original and creator owned narratives, with a focus on horror, and featuring storyboards that are 'dark in it's theme and revolve around building spine tingling tension and atmosphere throughout.'

HELLBOUND MEDIA: Comic book publisher, specialising in two-parters, one-shots and anthologies, with a mission 'to produce engaging stories with striking visuals.' Initially growing out of the Hellraiser fan community with the Hellbound Chronicles series of web comics. A publishing company followed and since, Hellbound has gone on to produce several well-received titles, such as Faith Healers, Kiss Me Deadly and Mandy the Monster Hunter.

MAD ROBOT COMICS: Publishers of CADAVERS - 'X-Men meets Pulp Fiction with some Jim Henson thrown in for the hell of it.'

The Kill Screen: Creator owned comic written by Mike Garley, with artwork by Josh Sherwell, and letters by Mike Stock. 'Humanity has reached its Kill Screen. Now only the strongest will survive as computer errors transcend from the digital world into our own, destroying everything in their way.'

Set two years after ‘The Kill Screen’ event, humanity is left on the brink of extinction leaving the remaining survivors caught in a deadly 8-Bit fight for survival. No one knows what caused computer errors and technological faults to infect our world, but with a wide range of different dangers, threatening the lives of the survivors on a daily basis, no one cares. Surviving is all that matters.

Shades of Vengeance: Producers of original Roleplaying Games, and related comics, including 'Era: Survival', which immerses players in a post-apocalyptic world, where desperate factions fight for survival and dominance.

MILD FRENZY COMICS: "Hi, I'm Iqbal Ali. I'm an independant comic writer and passionate believer of comics as a storytelling medium. I’ve been writing comics for a while, it’s what I love doing. You can read my stuff for free on this site, but I really need your support to keep doing it!"

Romatically Apocalyptic: First conceptualized in 2005 as a series of post-apocalyptic paintings on deviantart by Vitaly S Alexius, and soon developed into an online graphic novel in 2010, which grew into a surreal, collaborative, multimedia art project that includes poetry, prose, photography, digital art, music and film.

A ton of amazing things, goodies and more, I know of RA, I was there when the first page showed up on deviantART and had been supporting his work since then, really amazing work done. All of them, in fact, sounds awesome.
