Oh, and @ fletcherc, you know that they will never release a G-creature that could ever rival Birkin. The original G will always the best ^-^

The series has been going in this direction for a while now. Even though I'd love to see a nice survival horror Resident Evil released in the future, you and I both know that, at this point, it's just not going to happen. Be glad with what CAPCOM does give us, because the days of ORE are gone, and we must accept that CAPCOM is just trying it's best to get the last bits of money it can from the franchise name (however sad that fact is).

I have to agree with George Trevor, the RE series has moved away from the real survival horror gameplay where you had to be very strategic in everything you did.
I miss the good old days of RE where you had to conserve ammo & health items, making sure you don't over use ammo to conserve health items and vice versa.

On that note, I don't know if CAPCOM really listens to their fan base, or if they just want to aim for the mindless masses (in George's words).
Shall have to see what it's like when I have a go of it.

Now that I have digested that trailer I have very serious concerns that this series has detracted so far away from any of the reasons why I loved & played it so often, to begin with. I fear this really is R.I.P to survival horror & puzzle based game-play interjected with ammo sparse combat. The mindless masses have won. Don't tell me Leon's scenario is survival horror, or quote anything Capcom have to say regarding survival horror post RE4.

I hope to be persuaded otherwise with further Resident evil 6 news.....

Thanks for uploading this. The trailer looks smashing but let's not get our hopes up. The trailer for RE5 looked cool, too, and then the game turned out to be quiet disappointing. But it's good to see the zombies are back. And some G-virus creature obviously. Let's see if that one is as formidable as Nemesis or Birkin ...

I'm super excited now!
When I first heard this game verified a while ago, I was worried that it might not be released for a few years, but here it comes ^-^
The new look is very beautiful, but at the same time I'm hoping that it isn't as much like RE5 as it seems. Sure, 5 was okay, but I personally found it short, and too much action without any horror. Please CAPCOM, don't ruin this!
I'm glad there are zombies, and I'm happy to see it reminisces the old games while still presenting a new style. I'm also glad to see Leon back, but to be honest, I think he looks a lot like Kevin Ryman from Outbreak now... I'll have to get used to it I guess.
