The official Japanese site for Resident Evil Vendetta was updated today with character biographies for the film's antagonists. Residents can read below our translation of the details revealed, together with the earlier released biographies for the main protagonists & BSAA unit 'Silver Dagger'.

Scenario Director Morimasa Sato confrims The Shining to be a significant inspiration, with his concept character development for stalking antagonist Jack Baker being influenced on Jack Torrance... even down to the name!

Step behind the scenes in the Making of Resident Evil 7 video series! Starting today Capcom is offering fans the chance to uncover the secrets behind the development of Resident Evil 7 Biohazard. The documentary series features never before seen footage and interviews with key development team members as they explore the origins of 2017’s scariest gaming experience. The four part series will release weekly and the doors open today with Part One: Beginning Hours, which is available to download now on the press site.
Part one features revealing interviews with Jun Takeuchi (Executive Producer), Masachika Kawata (Producer) and Koshi Nakanishi (Director) and explores how the team and the survival horror ideas in Resident Evil 7 biohazard came about as well as showcasing a sneak peek at how the Capcom Europe team reacted to seeing the game for the very first time!
