CAPCOM EUROPE PRESS RELEASE ~
Horror fans will soon be able to get a taste of Resident Evil Revelations with the upcoming release of a downloadable demo for Xbox LIVE, PSN, Nintendo eShop and Steam. Exact release dates to be confirmed shortly.
Acting on orders from the BSAA director, the demo will see players infiltrating the cruise ship ‘Queen Zenobia’ as Jill Valentine & attempt to rescue missing fellow BSAA members Chris Redfield & Jessica Sherawat whose last known location pinpointed them onboard.
Also available at 16.00 BST / 17.00 CET today will be the first in a weekly series of Developer Diaries featuring interviews with the team behind Resident Evil Revelations. Today’s video takes a look at the heritage and horror of Resident Evil ~
Episode #17 of the Project Umbrella Podcast features series bohemoth Resident Evil 3. No special guest this episode, but an in-depth discussion from the original team of George Trevor, TheBatman, Neptune, News Bot, STARS TYRANT, and Mr. Spencer ~

Last week Capcom confirmed that Rachel will be a playable character in Resident Evil Revelations Unveiled Edition's Raid Mode. Theaddition of Rachel and the previously announced Hunk in Raid Mode are just one of a number of new features the development team has implemented into the console and PC versions of the game. The following new content has already been confirmed : TheWall Blister enemy, extra ‘Infernal’ difficulty mode, integration with Residentevil.net and Raid mode improvements. The PC version of Resident Evil 6 has been released, and residents can watch the first video showing Left 4 Dead 2’s Survivors and Special Infected Zombies in the game, here at Crimson Head Elder.
As announced last week, four of L4D2’s Survivors - Coach, Nick, Ellis and Rochelle – will be playable characters in the PC exclusive Mercenaries No Mercy mode, with The Witch and Mini Tank appearing as additional enemies for players to take down, regardless of whether a character from Left 4 Dead 2 or Resident Evil 6 is chosen. This new and exclusive content is free and will automatically be downloaded in the background to all owners of the PC version of Resident Evil 6 from April 5.
Resident Evil 6 PC is now available as a digital download in North America for $29.99, with European PC gamers able to purchase both the digital version and a disc based version. In Europe the digital version is priced at €29.99/£19.99.
